Walk-in Interview at MEIL
Position: Safety Engineers / Safety Officers
Job Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Qualification: Any Engineering / Diploma / Science Graduate with Diploma in Industrial Safety / ADIS from State Board of technical Education.
Experience: 4 to 10 Years (Underground Metro & TBM Tunneling Exp is Preferable)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Implement and monitor site safety Management Plans, procedures, and statutory compliance.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections, identify hazards, and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Carry out Toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training for workmen and staff.
- Coordinate with site execution teams to ensure safe work methodology, PTW compliance and risk control.
- Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment (HIRA), Method Statements, and emergency response plans.
- Ensure proper use of PPE, enforce safety rules, and promote a positive safety culture.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, confined space hot work and excavation.
- Maintain records of incidents / near-misses and support incident investigation to identify root causes.
- Ensure statutory compliance with Factories Act, BOCW Act, IS standards and client Safety requirements.
- Coordinate with client/consultant for safety audits, meetings, and compliance follow-up.
