Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Mechanical Equipment function for project execution and operational support.
- Develop strategies for equipment reliability, maintenance and lifecycle management.
- Manage installation, commissioning, shutdown, turnaround and maintenance activities.
- Review and approve technical specifications, engineering deliverables and equipment procurement packages.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
- Drive safety, quality and operational excellence across all mechanical activities.
- Lead vendor management, contractor performance reviews and technical discussions.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams while ensuring adherence to organizational standards and best practices.
Required Technical Skills
- Static Equipment: Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Towers, Tanks and Boilers
- Rotary Equipment: Pumps, Compressors, Blowers, Turbines and Gearboxes
- Knowledge of Mechanical Design Standards and Industry Codes
- Equipment Inspection, Reliability & Maintenance Management
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Analysis
- Turnaround/Shutdown Planning and Execution
- Vendor Coordination and Technical Evaluation
- Familiarity with SAP PM, CMMS or other Maintenance Management Systems
