Desired Candidate Profile
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and detailed rate analyses for civil works.
- Review, interpret, and validate tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Conduct thorough market research and vendor/subcontractor pricing evaluations in line with prevailing KSA standards.
- Contribute to the preparation of tender submissions, proposals, and pre-contract documentation as per client and project requirements.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and planning teams to develop competitive, compliant, and value-driven pricing strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for infrastructure projects (roads, highways, bridges, utilities, site development).
- Study tender documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate pricing and scope coverage.
- Conduct market research, review RFQ packages, and evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations.
- Lead and mentor estimation engineers/junior staff, providing guidance and reporting to the Tender Head.
- Coordinate with design, planning, and project management teams for accurate and cost-effective bids.
- Participate in tender strategy meetings, risk assessment, and value engineering sessions.
- Strong knowledge of estimation software (Candy/CostX or similar), MS Excel, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
Skills Required
- Strong experience in pre-contract estimation, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis for civil works.
- Proficient in estimation software (Candy, CCS, CostX, etc.) and MS Excel.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost optimization.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
Other Key Considerations
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia / GCC construction projects preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multicultural and diverse teams.
