- Position: Mechanical Incharge – Flyover/ROB/Viaduct Construction
- Job Code: BGM15
- Location: Bardhaman, West Bengal
- Qualification: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: 15+ years in plant and machinery management for infrastructure projects, including 5 years in viaduct/flyover projects
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Equipment Management
- Manage mobilization, operation & maintenance of heavy machinery
- Preventive & breakdown maintenance
- Fuel/consumption optimization
2. Site Coordination
- Coordinate with civil and structural teams
- Ensure lifting readiness & operational safety
3. Team Supervision
- Lead mechanics, welders, electricians, etc.
- Conduct training & daily task allocation
4. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with BOCW, RDSO, IRC-SP, NHAI norms
- Conduct inspections and toolbox talks
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain logs, reports, and spares records
- Report equipment uptime and coordinate procurement
Technical Skills Required
- Hydraulic, mechanical handling, bridge launching systems
- Reading drawings/manuals
- Familiarity with CMMS/ERP tools
Preferred Certifications
- BOCW, First Aid, Fire Safety, Lifting Supervisor
- Crane/Diesel/Mechanical maintenance training
- DG set operation
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel/relocate
- Strong communication & leadership skills
- Willingness for shift-based roles
