Job Summary
Ahluwalia Contracts is seeking a highly experienced professional for the role of Sr. Manager / AGM – Estimation. The candidate should have strong expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and project budgeting.
The selected candidate will lead estimation activities, ensure accurate and competitive bids, and support project planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects and tenders
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope of work
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations
- Develop BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdown structures
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors
- Support contract negotiations and bid submissions
- Maintain estimation database and historical cost records
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil)
- Minimum 20 years of experience in estimation and tendering
- Strong knowledge of project costing, contracts, and commercial aspects
- Experience in large-scale projects (EPC / Infrastructure / Industrial)
- Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple bids simultaneously
