Job Summary:
The Commercial & Contracts Manager is responsible for leading the Commercial & Contracts team on a high-value building projects. This role ensures effective contract administration, commercial management, risk mitigation and compliance with contractual obligations. The position involves strategic, overnight of all commercial activities, including claims, variation, procurement, and cost control, to safeguard the company’s financial interests and deliver project objectives.

- Project: High-rise, Hospital & Villa projects
- Location: UAE
Key Responsibilities:
- Leda and manage the Commercial & Contracts team, providing guidance and mentoring.
- Oversee administration of main contracts and subcontract agreements in compliance with other applicable standards.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
- Manage preparation, negotiation, and resolutions of claims, variations and disputes.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow go ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Ensure timely issuance of contractual notices and compliance with contract terms.
- Review and approve Sub-contractor claims, variations, and payment recommendations.
- Support procurement activities, including contract packages and commercial evaluations
- Prepare and present commercial resorts to ensure management and stakeholders.
- Identify contractual and commercial risks and implement mitigation measures.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in Contarcts and commercial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role on large-scale building projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forma of contract.
- Proven experience in claims management, dispute resolution, and commercial strategy.
- Proficient in MS Office and contract management systems.
- Preferable Member of MRICS and /or MCI Arb.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- High level of commercial and contractual acumen.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
