📌 Position: Civil & Structural Design Engineers
Qualification Required:
-
ME / M.Tech / B.E / B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering
Experience:
-
5 to 15 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of transmission towers (lattice steel structures) using software such as STAAD.Pro, PLS-TOWER.
- Design tower foundations based on soil investigation reports.
- Prepare structural design calculations, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Validate tower loadings including wind, conductor, insulator loads, and deflection criteria.
- Review compliance with standards such as IS 802, IS 456, IS 875, ASCE, IEC, etc.
- Optimize tower weight and foundation costs through value engineering.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with geotechnical, electrical, and quality teams.
- Maintain design documentation and calculation reports.
- Support tendering and proposal teams with technical inputs.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of steel structure design and foundation engineering.

PLS-TOWER / TOWER

- Knowledge of codes: IS 802, IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893, and others.
- Ability to interpret tower schedules, route profiles, and load diagrams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
