Location: Agra, Uttar Pradesh
Type of Project: Highway Project
Qualification Required: Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Experience: 05-12 years of experience in Quality Control especially in Highway / Flyover / Cable Styuted Bridges projects.
Roles & Responsibilities: The role holder will be responsible for implementation and monitoring quality assurance and quality control systems for highway, flyover, and bridge projects. The role ensures compliance with approval quality plans, contract specifications, IRC / IS / MoRTH standards and client requirements across all stages of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish implement, and monitor the Project Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP) in line with contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, draiwngs method statements, ITPs, and quality produedures.
- Supervise and control QA/QC activities related to Sub-structure, Super-structure, casting yards, segment casting launching and PSC works.
- Conduct and coordinate material inspections, testing and approvals for concrete, steel, bearing, expansion joints, and other structural components.
- Liaison with Client, PMC, Independent Engineer, and third-party Inspection agencies for quality inspection and approvals.
- Monitor cube strength, concrete durability and compliance with approved mix designs.
- Monitor Non-conformance Reports (NCRs) corrective durability parameters, and compliance with approved
- Accountable for checking and supervision of In-house Material Testing / Third party Material, testing of construction materials like cement, aggregate, fly ash, soil concrete etc. as per relevant IS Codes and maintenance of its records.
- Review and monitor soil test, and compaction test, curing methods, batch certificates, Inspection of prescast, verify coordinate, witness concrete pouring, witness cube tests.
- Ensuring Calibration of Concrete Plant and lab Equipment’s as per contract agreement.
- Checking of Prescast Segment production as per relevant inspection Test Plan.
- Responsible for managing proper QA/QC document.
