Job Overview:
To spearhead our international business Development interactives throughout the Latin America (LATAM) area, we are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented individual. This position is in charge of finding new business prospects and developing strong relationships with important partners. Strong negotiating abilities, in-depth knowledge of the local market, and the capacity to create and carry out strategic expansion strategic are all requirements for the position.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
- Develop and implement long term business development strategies for targeted countries.
- Identify market Opportunities, potential business partners, joint ventures and agents
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Build and maintain client relationship through meetings and presentations
- Develop marketing strategies to support tender and bid success.
- Support proposal teams with client focused, value driven content
- Enhance company visibility through Industry events and digital platforms.
- Adapt business approaches to align with cultural and Business practice unique to LATAM.
- Promote business ethics and uphold company branding standards.
Project Management:
- Interaction with client for new projects
- Project Feasibility analysis
- Responsible of all documentation including pre-bid correspondence, minutes, proposals, contracts etc.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MBA or equivalent
- Experience: 10+ years experience in infrastructure, Power Sector business development.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using Tendering software and Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in Spanish (Written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Proven track record of leading large scale business development initiatives and closing complex deals
- Strong understanding of Latin America market.
