Position: Planning Head – Marine Bridge / Creek Bridge Projects
Experience Required:
15 to 25 years
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Post-Graduation: NICMAR / M.E. / M.Tech (Civil Engineering / Construction Management)
Role Purpose & Responsibilities
The role is responsible for project planning and scheduling, aligning activities with project objectives and contractual requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Schedule Preparation
- Preparing schedules using Primavera / MS Project
- Developing detailed activity plans based on project needs
- Creating schedules with critical paths for smooth commissioning
- Cost loading into Primavera P6
Budget & Cost Management
- Understanding direct and indirect project costs
- Preparing MIS reports and cash flow summaries
Resource Planning
- Compiling manpower, materials, and equipment requirements
- Managing resource planning effectively
Progress Monitoring
- Comparing actual progress vs. budgeted plans
- Tracking progress using S-curve analysis
This role demands strong analytical, scheduling, planning, and coordination skills to efficiently lead planning activities for major bridge and marine projects.
